A blank canvas waiting for inspiration……
Stripped back to it’s bare walls and waiting for the addition of new windows and skylights, it’s so exciting watching my new studio evolve….
Some of the brand new oven-gloves ( in tasty new colours ) being manufactured in preparation for NY Now at the Javits Centre next month.
In Crate & Barrel on Saturday and spotted the new melamine picnic ware designed by Fiona Howard. Lovely, fresh, sunny fish for poolside dining.
It’s been an incredibly frustrating day in the studio today as I wrestle with technology. Quite frankly I would like to take my new Apple laptop for a swim in the sea. The best way to calm down is to lie back and look at the sky and remember that none of this really matters.
Quite beautiful, even in February !
Spring 2016. The new ‘Hen House’ design by Fiona Howard as tea towels, aprons, oven gloves and pot holder….
Been out and about for the past week, drinking lots of coffee as we try and keep warm in New York and Chicago. At the NY Now show, seeing clients, and also having a wonderful time playing as we work…..
There are lots of lovely new tea towels and kitchen textiles in Crate & Barrel for 2016. This is just one of the designs by Fiona Howard.
Had a wonderful day at the Alexander Calder exhibition. Playful and relaxing an inspiration to young and old.
